Thank you for visiting us at the 2015 Shingo West Conference in Salt Lake City!

We hope you enjoyed the presentations of our Founder, Mike Martyn and our clients, Charles Kennedy (University of Washington), George Donaldson (Newsprinters), and Joe Healy (DePuySynthes).

We have had a lot of request for information on our new DISCOVER + course.  In this unique 2.5 days workshop, at a carefully selected host site, participants will learn the keys to successfully building a principle-based implementation approach, aligning results and behavior through the design of adaptable systems.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

The workshop begins with a 2-day, detailed introduction to the Shingo Model™, the Guiding Principles and the Three Insights to Enterprise Excellence™. With real-time discussions and on-site learning at a host organization, this program is a highly interactive experience.

It will include several Go and See exercises at the host site, providing the opportunity for the delegates to apply the Shingo assessment framework and to begin to understand how to deploy this in their own organizations.

Having grasped the Why and the What of the principle-based approach, participants will then move into a half-day, practical overview session that will help them to understand How to deploy the Model through focussing on 4 Key Systems (as detailed in the Shingo Prize winning book Own the Gap) and thus create a culture of continuous improvement.

This session enables the participants to consider the hierarchy of the Guiding Principles and of the Key Systems so that they can prioritize resources and effort to achieve the optimum results.  From this, participants can then develop the most appropriate roadmap for implementation in their own organizations.  Finally, the workshop will conclude with a brief review of the role and responsibilities of leaders and managers in the design, implementation and development of a closed- loop daily management system.
